| Hello,
and welcome to my website.
I love designing, creating and working with
fabric from intricate hand work to portrait quilts to art
quilts. All of these are a pleasure to me and I do some of
each. Come in and explore what I've been doing since retiring
to the family homestead near Chehalis, Washington in 1995.
-Enjoy!

Indian
Pipe
This ghostly looking saprophyte is found in the moist coniferous
forest on our property. It is quite rare. This quilt was done
with the Ruth McDowell technique, using machine piecing and
quilting. The leaves of the Salad and ferns were appliqued
on after the quilt was pieced. The bug, an Alder Borer, was
thread painted onto the quilt.
